This Privacy Policy explains how ISMU co ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Involex mobile application and related website (the "Service"). Involex helps freelancers and small businesses create invoices, manage clients, and track payments.
By using Involex, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. For our contractual terms, see our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Involex, we may collect the following categories of information:
Account information
Name, email address, and authentication credentials when you sign up with email/password or Google Sign-In. If you use Google Sign-In, Google may share basic profile information (such as name and email) with us according to your Google account settings.
Business content you provide
Invoice details, client names and contact details, amounts, tax settings (such as GST/VAT rates), payment status, and related documents you create or upload in the app.
Device and usage information
App interactions, crash logs, performance diagnostics, device type, operating system, and similar technical data needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config for these purposes.
We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers through Involex for processing client payments on your behalf unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Involex features (invoicing, clients, dashboards, and account access).
- Authenticate users and protect accounts against unauthorized access.
- Monitor reliability, diagnose crashes, and measure product usage.
- Deliver app configuration updates through Remote Config (for example, maintenance or version messaging).
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Sharing & Processors
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase — Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and related cloud services.
- Google Sign-In — If you choose to sign in with Google.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of ISMU co, our users, or the public.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and business content for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the Service. Analytics and crash data are retained according to our providers' retention settings and our operational needs. When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account within a reasonable period, except where we must retain information for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email ismuco2025@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.
7. Children's Privacy
Involex is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including secure authentication through Firebase and industry-standard transport encryption where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Transfers
Involex uses cloud infrastructure that may process and store data in countries other than where you live, including through Google Firebase. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by our processors for such transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Involex after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
